The Asheville Downtown Association is growing our team! We’re currently hiring for two positions: Development Manager and Coordinator, Programs + Administration.

We’re looking for talented, collaborative people who care about Downtown Asheville and want to play a role in supporting the businesses, people, programs and partnerships that make our Downtown thrive.

Development Manager

The Development Manager will lead the Asheville Downtown Association’s fundraising and development efforts, helping grow the resources and relationships that support our work.

This position will focus on corporate sponsorships, membership, individual giving, grant writing and sponsor fulfillment. The Development Manager will build and maintain relationships with businesses, community partners, members and supporters while identifying new opportunities to expand investment in the organization and its programs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is relationship-driven, organized and excited about connecting people and businesses with meaningful opportunities to support Downtown Asheville.

Coordinator, Programs + Administration

The Coordinator, Programs + Administration will help keep our organization—and our programs—moving.

This role will provide administrative and programmatic support across the Downtown Association’s work, including events and programs, board and committee administration, vendor and partner coordination, communications, permitting, logistics and other day-to-day organizational needs.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable juggling a variety of projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both behind-the-scenes coordination and being part of the action as programs and events come to life in Downtown Asheville.
