Oktoberfest Fills Coxe Avenue With Bavarian Cheer

Coxe Avenue was the backdrop for this year’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 6pm, drawing thousands to South Slope and filling the restaurants and businesses of the Brewery District. Even the threat of rain and a few light showers could not keep the crowds away.

Guests came ready for the occasion, with plenty of weenie dogs, Bavarian treats and people in their finest Bavarian garb. The street was full of beer, brats and oompa music all afternoon.

Thank you to our sponsor, Fields Automotive, for making the event possible. Thank you also to our participating breweries and beverage partners!

We also want to thank the South Slope restaurants and businesses that welcomed the crowds, along with the vendors, volunteers, musicians and the ADA events team who kept everything running.
