Kudzu Brands Launches Summer Brand Camp
Kudzu Brands, Asheville's most trusted branding and marketing agency, announces the launch of Kudzu Brands Summer Camp. This year’s giveaway awards one selected organization a unique opportunity to work alongside the agency’s experts in live workshops at Kudzu Brands’ office.
From May 4, 2026, until May 22, 2026, minority-owned businesses and nonprofit organizations across Western North Carolina are encouraged to apply for this hands-on, collaborative brand-building experience, valued at $10,000. Applications will be reviewed by the Kudzu Brands team, who will select one winner based on the strength and clarity of each submission. Considerations include impact, need for brand or rebrand redevelopment, vision and goals, the “why” behind the work, emotional resonance, uniqueness, and their ability to commit time over three months.
The selected organization will participate in in-person working sessions over three months and leave camp with a compelling brand story that clearly communicates messaging, a custom logo designed for instant recognition, collateral ready for print and digital use, and a tailored marketing plan aligned to their goals and growth. The winner will be announced on June 1, 2026.
More To Love Plus Size Consignment, a previous winner of the agency’s annual giveaway, quickly put its brand to use. “From start to finish, I felt at home with Kudzu Brands. From the beginning, they were a pleasure to talk to, and I really felt like they heard me when I spoke about what I needed and my vision for my business,” said Owner, Jazmin Whitmore.
“Giving back to the community is at the heart of Kudzu Brands. Individually and corporately, our team members volunteer with nonprofit organizations and minority-owned businesses,” said Heather Johnson, Owner and Brand Strategist. “The Kudzu Brands Summer Camp is a way to make the brand story, brand identity, and marketing plan process an intensive and immersive experience. At the end of Brand Summer Camp, the winner will have $10,000 worth of essential branding fundamentals to help facilitate growth.”
Full camp details, eligibility guidelines, and application form, including the complete list of qualifying WNC counties, including Buncombe, Haywood, and Transylvania, are available on Kudzu’s website, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
