Asheville Celebrates America 250 on South Slope

This year's Fourth of July downtown was hot, with temperatures reaching the mid-90s. A mid-day downpour rolled through, but the weather cleared just in time for the fireworks show.

Asheville Yards hosted a full day of music, with sets from Hannah and the Wistfuls, The Blue Dragons, and Empire Strikes Brass. A car show ran alongside the day's events, and Ingles presented the Ultimate Air Dogs.

Thank you to the volunteers, vendors, South Slope businesses, and sponsors who made the day possible, and to the City of Asheville for its support.
