Asheville Downtown Improvement District Board Seats Open for 2027
ADID Is Looking for Three New Board Members!
The Asheville Downtown Improvement District is accepting applications for three open Board seats for 2027: a Downtown residential renter, a Southeast quadrant property owner, and a Southwest quadrant business owner.
ADID's Board sets the direction for how the district's assessment dollars get spent, from Ambassador operations to public art to capital projects. Seats are structured to represent different stakeholders across Downtown, property owners, business owners, and residents alike, so the Board reflects the range of people who actually live and work here, not just one segment of it.
The three specific seats that we are looking to fill are:
Downtown residential renter
Southeast (SE) quadrant property owner
Southwest (SW) quadrant business owner
This is a direct way to weigh in on how Downtown is managed and where its resources go. Board members help guide ADID's work to keep Downtown vibrant, accessible, and thriving, and to ensure responsible stewardship of Downtown taxpayer money.
Applications are open now. Apply here, or reach out if you have questions about what serving involves to erica@ashevilledowntown.org
