This Mother’s Day, Downtown Asheville’s newest wood-fired sensation Xico is partnering with their neighbor Sauna House for a more intentional celebration rooted in restoration, connection, and nourishment. Mom can unwind with a relaxing afternoon including a sauna and cold plunge session followed by a 3-course brunch menu designed to complement the morning’s sense of renewal. The wellness-driven experience ($75 per mom) is designed to support both body and mind through a seamless blend of thermal therapy and vibrant brunch.

The intentional celebration kicks-off at Sauna House from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. where guests are guided into a simple, grounding rhythm of heat, cold, and rest. The two hour visit includes access to sauna, cold plunge, and dedicated recovery spaces encouraging a natural reset of the nervous system. Guests are invited to move intuitively between temperatures, soften into stillness and reconnect with their breath in an environment designed to promote calm, clarity, and balance. Full access to showers with lockers are also included.

Following the thermal experience, guests can head over to their neighbor Xico to experience their newest weekend brunch. The menu includes:

• Choice of Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Michelada, signature Margarita or zero-proof Mockarita

• Mini Guacamole made to order and salsa trio to awaken the palate

• Choice of entrée, including:

  • Huevos Rancheros: Sunny-side eggs served over crispy tortillas with country ham, refried beans, queso mixto, ranchero salsa, avocado, and pico de gallo

  • Chilaquiles con Huevos: Baked tortilla chips tossed in salsa verde with shredded chicken, crema, cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, and sunny-side-up eggs

  • Pan Torrejas: Tres Leches French Toast topped with fresh berries, maple syrup, whipped cream, and candied pecans

  • Quesadilla de Huevo: Nueske’s applewood smoked bacon, egg and cheese on a griddled flour tortilla filled with queso mixto, chipotle salsa, cilantro and Mexican crema 

• Churros filled with dulce de leche for a sweet, satisfying finish

This one-day-only offering encourages guests to honor the mothers in their lives with an experience that goes beyond tradition with one that restores, replenishes, and reconnects.
