Join us for a day of patriotic celebration at the Independence Day Block Party in the South Slope!

INDEPENDENCE DAY BLOCK PARTY RETURNS TO SOUTH SLOPE — FRIDAY, JULY 4

After last year’s record-setting debut, the Independence Day Block Party presented by Ingles is back on South Slope—bigger, louder, and packed with new surprises. Whether you’re chasing live music, family fun, or the perfect patio pint, you’ll find something on every block.

EVENT SNAPSHOT

BLOCK-WIDE HIGHLIGHTS
• All day – Wicked Weed Brewing: live-music marathon on the patio + specialty releases
• All day – Bear’s Smokehouse: DJ sets, grilled-to-order specials, signature cocktails

• All day – Basketball, Pickleball, Drink Specials and more at Asheville Sports Club
• 5 PM – South Slope sidewalks come alive; food-truck court & marketplace vendors open
• 5 PM – 9 PM – Mountaineer Motor Tours Car Show on Coxe & Buxton (vintage rides and muscle cars)
• 5 PM – 8:30 PM – KidZone (Federal Alley) with inflatables, face-painting, giant games — presented by Well Played Board Game Café
• 5:30 PM – Asheville Yards Stage: 100th Army Band
• 7:30 PM – Asheville Yards Stage: Mission Accomplished
• 5PM –9PM – Asheville Yards: Ultimate AirDogs high-flying dock-diving shows
• 9:30 PM – Fireworks finale with prime views throughout South Slope

HOST VENUES & PARTNERS
Official hosts Burial Beer Co., Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ, and Chemist Spirits will anchor the party with outdoor bars, pop-up stages, and exclusive collaborations. Well Played Board Game Café powers the expanded KidZone and Asheville Sports will have games all day long!

FOOD, DRINK & MARKETPLACE
• Food trucks: Bear’s BBQ, Hop Ice Cream, Funnel King, Sweet Squeeze Lemonade, Silly Willies, Kona Ice, Grush’s Cajun Dino Grill, Paris Festival, Jamaican Flavors, Cecilia’s and Smasheville
• Craft beverage stations: local taps, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic options
