Father's Day Brunch

  • Xico 175 Biltmore Avenue Asheville, North Carolina, 28801 United States (map)

Brunch just got a little bolder this Father’s Day. Gather the family and celebrate Dad with a festive brunch at Downtown Asheville’s beloved Cocina de Fuego, Xico. Known for its authentic wood-fired Mexican cuisine, the restaurant recently unveiled its new weekend brunch menu, featuring creative Mexican-inspired twists on classic brunch favorites—making Father’s Day the perfect occasion to experience it.

With more than 30 years of experience specializing in Mexican cuisine, Executive Chef Scott Linquist has crafted a brunch menu designed for sharing, savoring and celebrating. Guests can enjoy inventive dishes that blur the line between breakfast and fiesta, from crispy tortillas made with their homemade masa layered with rich salsas to hearty plates featuring grilled meats, eggs and Latin-inspired sweets. Signature favorites will also be available, including Xico’s tableside Caesar Salad, mashed-to-order Guacamole, Tuna Tostaditas and homemade Quesadillas.

At the heart of the menu are chef-driven interpretations of traditional Mexican breakfast dishes, including:

  • Huevos Rancheros – Sunny-side eggs served over crispy tortillas with country ham, refried beans, queso mixto, ranchero salsa, avocado, and pico de gallo

  • Arrachera con Huevos – Grilled marinated Angus skirt steak with fried eggs, papas con rajas, chiles toreados, pico de gallo, and queso fresco

  • Chilaquiles con Huevos – Baked tortilla chips tossed in salsa verde with shredded chicken, crema, cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, and sunny-side eggs

  • Pan Torrejas – Tres Leches French Toast topped with fresh berries, maple syrup, whipped cream, and candied pecans

Set the celebratory mood and raise a glass to Dad with festive brunch cocktails, including the Michelada made with Tecate, fresh lime, Valentina hot sauce, Worcestershire, Maggi, Tajín, and pickled jalapeño; the refreshing Blueberry Hugo Spritz with muddled blueberries, St-Germain, mint, Cava, and soda or the a refreshing Frozen Horchata blended with Tia Maria Coffee Liqueur and finished with a cinnamon sugar rim.

Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made through Resy or by calling (828) 412-5180. Enjoy ample parking on site. Our weekend brunch continues every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
