Please find some specific information about this year’s festival as it relates to your business operations or your residence. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need further information or clarification.
Moogfest is an annual event that honors the remarkable vision of Robert Moog and his amazing musical inventions that changed the course of music. Moogfest in 2014 is a unique hybrid innovation conference and music event held over multiple days in multiple venues across downtown Asheville. For more information on Moogfest, please visit www.moogfest.com.
New to the festival this year, Lexington Ave. between Hiawassee St. and the overpass and Broadway between the overpass and Starnes will be transformed into an outdoor performance space for 3 days of the festival. The festival will be free and open to the public so we are expecting a large volume of festival attendees over 3 days. Both Lexington Ave and Broadway will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning Thursday, April 24 at 6 p.m. Load-in will commence at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 and will continue Friday morning. There may be sound checks prior to Noon on Friday, April 25 with the stage fully functioning at 3 p.m. The street will be closed through the weekend and reopen for vehicle traffic Monday morning, April 28 at 7 a.m.
Outdoor Festival Hours
