Black Heritage Celebration – Saturday, February 16 from 1-3 p.m. at the Linwood Crump Shiloh Complex, 121 Shiloh Rd. Presented in partnership with the Shiloh Community Association, the event will feature guest speakers Mayor Terry Bellamy and John Hayes, musical selections by the community and a potluck meal. The public is invited to bring a covered dish and share in the joyous celebration of Afro-American heritage. Admission is free. History Expo – Saturday, February 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Stephens-Lee Recreation Center, 30 George Washington Carver. Highlights of the expo include poetry, musical performances, dance and food.
