Master Concept Plan for Haywood/Page Approved by Council

The master concept plan for the City-owned properties at 68 Haywood Street was adopted by Asheville City Council on Oct. 27. The plan closely follows the work of the Visioning Committee, appointed by City Council in 2016, and also after a series of public engagement sessions earlier this year.

The master plan is the next step in advancing the vision for this property, and provides a balance of both a tax-producing building and public space. The public space would include gathering places, a civic plaza and native landscaping, connected by ADA-accessible pathways.

Funding for the master plan has not been secured. For more information, visit this link
