Easter on the Green

Stay tuned for info on our 2022 event.

Each spring, the Asheville Downtown Association hosts Easter on the Green, presented by Ingles Markets. Easter on the Green takes place the Saturday before Easter Sunday at Downtown Asheville’s Pack Square Park. The event is free and open to the public.

Easter on the Green features age-specific Easter egg hunts, so kids hunt with children their own age. Parents/guardians will be required to check children in to pick up the appropriate wristband for their child’s age. Wristband is required for Egg Hunts. We'll also have kid’s activities and free photos with the Easter Bunny. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Accessibility

We strive to make our events accessible to persons with disabilities. Accessible portajohn/s are located near other portable restrooms. Regarding wheelchair accessibility, sidewalks run throughout the event. These sidewalks will remain open for the duration of the event and provide the best route for ingress, egress and concert viewing. Some event areas are grassy or paved and may present bumps or inclines. Food vendors are required to be prepared to serve people with disabilities. If you have suggestions as to how we can better serve our neighbors with disabilities, please let us know by emailing info@ashevilledowntown.org.
